Reishi – The mushroom of eternal life. Reishi is one of the most important medicinal mushrooms and one of the oldest medicines of mankind. Reishi is at home all over the world. As a typical tree mushroom, it grows wild on deciduous trees. The cultivation takes place mostly on wood trunks or pressed sawdust. In German-speaking countries it is called "Glänzender Lackporling".
