Quality starts at procurement

Our choice of suppliers results from a great deal of consideration and experience and is built upon close long-term collaborations some which were established as early as in 2004. This is how we maintain the consistently high quality of our dried mushrooms. We also ensure that optimal quality is maintained even during transportation: For overseas imports, our goods are always shipped frozen and stored frozen as soon as they reach us in Germany.

Regular lab analyses

Each and every batch of our dried mushrooms is tested by an independent laboratory in line with health and statutory food standards: The analyses include microbiological examinations for germs, bacteria and pesticides (BNN) and heavy metals of all kinds. Our dried mushrooms meet the strictest EU food directives and our customers are welcome to access all of our analyses at any time.

To maintain the high quality of our dried mushrooms, we use cutting-edge technologies and facilities for processing and storage: After thorough cleaning of the goods, our dried mushrooms are degermed and stored at -22 °C. After subsequent processing steps have been carried out, such as granulation and powdering, further dirt particles are removed to achieve maximum quality and a post-shipping shelf-life of at least 18 months.
